เนื้อเรื่องของภาพยนตร์ดราม่า ทริลเลอร์แอคชั่นเรื่องนี้จะเล่าถึง “ควอน ง็อก มิน” (เฉินหลง) ชาวเวียตนามเจ้าของร้านอาหารจีนผู้สุภาพ อ่อนโยน และเป็นที่รักของผู้คนในลอนดอน แต่ว่าวันหนึ่ง เขาต้องสูญเสียร้านอาหาร และลูกสาวจากเหตุการก่อการร้ายโดยกลุ่มกบฎ IRA (กองกำลังสาธารณรัฐไอร์แลนด์ )
เขาได้พยายามที่จะทวงถามหาความเป็นธรรมจากเจ้าหน้าที่รัฐ ต่อเหตุการณ์ที่สูญเสียในครั้งนี้ แต่ก็ถูกปฏิเสธ และทำเป็นมองไม่เห็น ไม่รับรู้เรื่องราวความสูญเสียของควอน แม้แต่ “เลียม เฮนเนสซี่” (เพียร์ซ บรอสแนน) เจ้าหน้าที่ระดับสูงของทางรัฐบาลอังกฤษ ทำให้ควอนต้องลุกขึ้นสืบค้นหามือระเบิด และผู้ก่อการร้ายตัวจริงให้ได้ เพื่อดับแค้นด้วยวิธีการสุดระห่ำ และโหดยิ่งกว่าจินตนาการใดๆ
